It did turn out to be just a blown fuse.
My question would be what could have caused a 20a fuse to blow.
The 20a fuse protects the CC and the back up light circuit. Both of the back up lights work as well.

Jared, high current flow in excess of the fuse rating. This usually means
that there is a short in the form of bare wires somewhere between the
supply and the load, not the ground side of the circuit. Look for stuff
that gets abraded or has movement nearby. Brake light stop switch lives
very near the cancel switch for the CC. Conductors hang down in that area
where feet can interfere with them.

Thanks for the info guys, will keep an eye on the fuse. If it happens again I will know where to start looking.
