Hello!
I am wondering, with you all having GMCs who insures them, and is it
"classic" insurance, or just "RV insurance" I talked with USAA but they
dont insure the RVs like they used to.

I also checked with GEICO but they say "Call for best rate." lol

1978 is the year of the GMC in question. (Its the one in Charleston SC)

But of course, that 403, if it does is gonna have to go.

I have National General Ins. formerly GMAC through Good Sam. The GMC is $400.00 a year with non-use option when stored. Not an "agreed value" policy. I also get an unbeatable rate on my other cars as well.

Check with Explorer RV Insurance Agency, Richfield, OH 888-774-6778

I have had an Agreed Value Policy, appraised by Jim Kanomata, for about 6 years now. I used a $500 deductible for collision and comprehensive but they reduct that by 25% each year you don't have a claim so right now I'm at 0 deductible.

They insured me with Great American Assurance Company which is National Interstate company.

I formerly had Progressive but I saved money with Explorer RV.

Sammy,

I was originally insured by USAA with AGREED VALUE. When USAA stopped writing
insurance on RVs, they just transferred my policy to Progressive but all documentation
and correspondences are done thru USAA. Still have that AGREED VALUE underwrite.

I also have Progressive via the USAA agency method. Interesting that the Progressive rate via USAA is lower than the Progressive rate that their agents quote.

I just moved from State Farm to Good Sam. For the same price as State Farm I get $49K agreed value and everything else I had with State Farm. Just under $400/year. This is a new thing for Good Sam and I think it is great.
