There is an article in today's local paper about a business a few miles from here that specializes in the training and repair of RV refrigerators. According to the article most RV refrigerators don't need to be thrown away but can be repaired. The business is called Ford's RV Training and Service, located in Benton, KY. http://rvrefrigeration.com/ The "Average Joe" tab may be of interest.

National RV Refrigeration in Shipshewana does an excellent job in
rebuilding. He did tech/rebuilding sessions at GMCES and also for GMCMI.
Leon Herschberger knows his stuff, for sure. He also has rebuilt units to
replace a unit so you can get going more quickly.
