Called Applied GMC today to get a quote on shipping 6 Eagle rims from CA. to N FL. Was told they can only quote a shipping price after they are shipped.
Has anyone on or near the S. East Coast had a set shipped and maybe can give me a ballpark idea of the cost?
Once heard they are drop shipped from Ohio?
Thanks for any info.

IIRC it's the final drives that come out of Ohio.

I think the final drives are inventoried in Ohio and Kalifornia. Shipped from wherever makes sense.

I can quote a price, if is mor I eat it.
Next time you get such answers have ou transferred to me.
Possibly it was Gary, our new guy.
I'm not into counting pennies, $ 30 /wheel should cover it .
It can be 35, so what, we will waste your and our time

Hey Jim -

Steve W here - from Southern California.

I had a couple of telephone interactions with Gary. He's not as quick as you or Nick - but he did fine. Nice and polite too.

We all were the new guys somewhere and sometime.

I spoke to a female who answered the phone.
Offered no other help.
Was not looking to get anyone in trouble.
Having shipped plenty over the years, I know you can give a weight, size and destination to obtain a shipping quote.

All the carriers have raised he price since I got mine. Nick shipped me 6 for $25 a wheel, and the total prce was reasonable. Ask for a quote for howevermany delivered. Realize, I have stuff sent to my workplace because UPS and FedEx are cheaper to a business they normally serve than to a residence. Plus, they have trouble >finding< my residence. The price quoted me for 6 wheels FOB my office was reasonable, so I bought them. I don't care what amount is assigned to 's&H' and what amount is assigned the merchandise. Price is right, I buy. Price isn't right, my custom goes elsewhere.

Try www.uship.com. See if anyone bites on the shipment. Might be slower, but worth a shot.
