I just had mine apart to replace the poly cord that had deteriorated, while it was out, I laid it out on the driveway, scrubbed and power washed it...I would not suggest power washing it without full support behind it....JWID...

Follow their instructions, Call them up for their soap, it is not expensive.

I had great results, I would advise against any pressure washing.

Power washing I believe is a bad idea. We just cleaned our Zip Dee awnings this
morning after a wet week at the beach. Rinsed fabric first then using a soft brush
and dishwashing liquid washed. Then rerinsed and let dry in the sun then rerolled.
Been doing it like that for a few years. JWID

I got my drivers side awning used from another GMC'r. It was quite dirty and stained. So, I took it to a car wash and used their power washer. Cleaned it up quite nice with no apparent bad effects. Just my experience.
