I have an issue.... When I turn on my water pump, I have water coming out of the city fill under pressure. There must be a check valve somewhere that is not working properly....Any ideas or direction on how to remedy would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance

You can replace the entire fitting, most RV stores should carry them.
Or you can do what I did, and that is to thread a cap into the fitting which effectively stops the pressure and the leak.

That is exactly where I had a leak, it was identical to what the picture shows.
I went to Lowes and bought a brass check valve and 1/2in extender. Problem solved and I can still use my city water connection.
I wish I had taken a photo of it, but did not as I was not a member of the forum yet and didn't really have anyone to share progress with other than my wife LOL.

There is a reverse flow valve in the city connection. It might be able to
be brought back to life by tapping on the valve wit a screwdriver handle .
Also hook up the city hose and run the water for few minutes.
The best thing to do is to replace the assembly with ine tht has pressure
regulator..
You can see it in on our web site under Plumbing.

What everyone else has said. These connections are known to leak and that is usually the cause of the on board fresh water pump cycling every now and then even when no faucets are turned on. If you occasionally hear your water pump cycling during the night then check this fitting and make sure the washer in the fitting is good and the cap is secure... Glenn
