First, the list was black with no thumb image. Could be my iPad.
We found a few 7 pins that seemed to have taken reverse engineering to a new level. When the computer goes into limp mode (something is causing the computer to no longer control the engine) a 7 pin is supposed to advance the spark "some" if you rev the engine when the timing/crank wire is disconnected. This is is to emulate the weights on a vacuum-weight distributor. We found that the module in question retatded the timing when the engine revved. It is a simple test when putting in a new module... Disconnect the "brown" wire, put a light on it and rev it up. It shoud go from the static to advanced enough so you don't see the mark. If it retards, I would not be happy with it.
These were supposed to be from a trusted manufacturer. I am not sure it can be pinned on any one brand.
