I cleaned every contact I could find, found a loose 12vdc on the printed
circuit power supply that goes to the control board, cleaned the igniters,
pulled the igniter module and power supply module and......
It still lights off intermittently with lots of clicking sounds coming out
of the igniter module. It then shuts down and fires off again..and again.
After that it may run, or just shut down completely.
Open for suggestions here as I'm totally baffled.
Thanks,
Len and Pat

Sounds like the flame sensor is marginal. needs relocation, or replacement. The clicking is the ignitor trying for flame, but if the sensor doesn't tell it 'I'm lit' it will keep trying until it times out. Be sure the burner orifice and air inlets are clean so you're getting proper flame aimed correctly.

I agree with Johnny, the clicking is the igniter trying to light it and it will time out if it doesn't sense a flame, make sure the igniter is located properly to where it can arc to the burner..and possible clean the area where it arcs to the burner to shine it up some. If it's not lighting then it could be the propane supply to the burner also..but start with the igniter. If you can watch it from the access panel when trying to light it may give you an indication if it is the gas supply or the igniter not functioning properly. Good luck, Glenn
