We're changing the O rings on the OEM bath faucet diverter in our 77 Kingsley. While we're at it we noticed there isn't an aerator on the faucet. Is there supposed to be? Was there one in the OEM faucet which we have? If so, what size is it? We didn't see any threads where one usually screws in. Also, if there is an aerator where can we get one? Is it a common type found with most plumbing supplies?

While we're at it. It looks like the drain takes a 1 1/4 rubber stopper. Is that what the OEM drain used? And was there a chain on it and where did it attach if it did. Seems like I saw a picture of this but I can't find it.

Thanks for the help.

Mickey,
The OEM faucet did not have any aerator for the bath sink at least not in the coaches that I had that had a wet bath.

They have (or had) a small plastic piece that stuck up into the end of the faucet. It was star or gear shaped. Mine is still there and that is the aerator.

I think I saw the little star-shaped gizmo in one of the exploded parts diagrams, but it doesn't seem to be available anywhere. If someone finds it, please post more information.

I also have that piece of plastic and could never figure out how to get it out without breaking it. So I left it alone. It is flush with the bottom of the faucet as I remember.
