Well we are on day 3 of our odessey
Olga was not completely ready, but will she ever be?
Last day before departure was spent on doing last thing that could not wait and trying to fit all parts and pieces

Fitting the hinges on the redone, now closed gen. door And Darn the new aircleaner applied sent me did not fit.. It is to tall, maybe from a 403? Will have to find somone who can repair my old aircleaner on the way

Firsth day Olga run hot, I was kind of expecting that as we did not replace the clutch when we did the engine swap Stayed at some friends close by, got served great supper and replaced the clutch. Now if anybody is wondering if there clutch is alright I bet it is not ! Now there is a hurricane under the hatch and she stays cool

Did not drive far and spending 2 nights in a state forrest relaxing after all the work packing the house and getting Olga ready
And doing all the bits that fall down and off Remember we never had the possibility for test drives So this is a mayor testdrive with no return

Tomorrow we head for Germany

Appie,
> Tomorrow we head for Germany

I was thinking today about you and wondered where you were.

Great to hear that things are progressing. Let me know, if/when you want
to stop by

Getting the right fan clutch is very tricky these days. After my original failed, I tried about 3 variations of aftermarket clutches and they either didn't come on or were on all the time. Ken B found some original Delco's on line and it works just right (fingers crossed)
