Just made our second trial trip and we used a small door matt to wipe our feet etc before entering the coach. We need something better and are looking at bigger matts. Before we buy something we would appreciate comments on what others are using, brands, types, costs and so forth. We see some that are lightweight, easy to sweep off, water runs through, come with storage bag. We don't have an awning yet but that's on the list. As always, thanks for all your help.

Walmart sells a mat that you can get in different colors. It is lightweight and water will pass through it better than through the grass type outdoor carpet that you can buy at most home supply stores. I used to use the grass type but they hold moisture and dirt/sand moreso than this type of woven plastic does. If you are staying in a spot for the summer (long term) then it doesn't really matter which one you use but for travelling my choice is the walmart one. Glenn

Depends on your budget. Big get as big as you can. I ran into this the pAst week. See alot of gravel and dirt campsites. So more mat in my opinion makes things. Nice.
I have used outdoor carpet and that works fine, But the rv mat i use now dries pretty quick.
Some campgrounds do not like the green outdoor carpet, but i have not run into that.
I will be buying a larger mat soon.

shape.
