If whomever is currently bidding on it REALLY wants it, he/she should keep upping the bidding. At the point he/she gets to the reserve, the bid will show as "winning."

As many times as it has been relisted, you are probably correct.
Shill bidders bug the crap out of me, the market sets the price.
If you have a price you want, then do a "Buy it Now" listing.

I'm sure you're right. His buddies bid the price up to within a few hundred of the reserve. If it doesn't sell, no problem, just re-list it. This is why the price keeps getting close to, but never over, $25,000. I'm sure that's what the reserve is, and I'm also sure there are no real bidders involved at this time.
