Good for you, Dan. You bought it with your eyes wide open so we are looking forward to your bringing it back from years of non-use. It will be great fun for you and your family so enjoy the ride. A good tow company with a front wheel sling can pick up the front and take it home for you so long as the rear stays up in the air and the rear tires last that long. The very best bet given that it is all new to you is to use a tow truck that can pull it all the way up on a bed and take it no wheels on the ground. keep us posted.

Well guess I am part of the family now. We bought the 78 for $1000. Has not been moved in 7 years. But it appears to truly have less than 20,000 miles on it. 138 hours on the generator. Leveling system still working. So is the clock. :-) Also seems to have the original tires. One blew when they tried to push it down the driveway.
It will be an adventure.
Any tips on getting this towed?
