I guess my chocolate chip cookies were not good enough for the net. Switched over to Oreo and the iPad mini logged back in. It is obvious the forum has problems but at least some of us can get on. I have never used any view but the Tree. It suits me the best and keeps the threads in order, at least until a handful of guys "split" the thing and start over. I rarely go back and read those, unless I just have too much time on my hands. Thanks Ken B for all of your help.

Welcome back. I see your login problem got resolved. Hopefully Eugene will find time to resolve the tree problem soon. Mean time try the workaround that I posted. It is a bit of a pain but it works.

I don't need no work a round. This is the way I have always viewed the forum since I got off the mailing list in 04. Everything looks, and functions, normal as far as I can tell. You have done for me all I needed and I appreciate it. Smile

I had to change my email address to get back in and in the interim, lost interest. Seems stupid to me since I use the forum. I usually exit a conversation when the thread splits due to the list-server issues.

I just joined another forum that is mail only and it SUCKS, plus 50% of the users had to change their email addresses, and we will have to do it again soon. I use Gmail on that one and I don't see my own posts. The yahoo and aol thing put the whole thing down. Mail lists are outdated. they should be retired.it's only gonna get worse thanks to the spammers.

The forum doesn't need workarounds.

I prefer the mail list - I wish all the forum's I was apart of had a mail list option... Much nicer to setup my email client and see the messages as I like to see them. Each to their own - obviously!

The DMARC issue wasn't caused by the mail list - but we have to deal with it due to the current situation.
