Just returned from a trip to the beach and
my A/C would not work on Max(fan will shut
off) and when I put the fan on HI the fan also
shuts off. I think this has been talked about
before but I don't remember.( What day is this)
It's working OK on the lower settings.

Blower high speed only works when the alternator output is present. I would
start with fuses, then center post of the isolator, then the resistor in
the drivers side of the heater box. Lastly might be fan switch itself.

It could be the high speed relay or commonly a burned spade connector on the relay. The resister on the side of the airbox is not in the circuit on high speed.
