I took the breather off to make sure there were no critter nests under it, and when I did, the pipe that feeds the breather hot air from the exhaust manifold fell off and when I crawled underneath to retrieve it, I noticed a rubber tube dangling. I think it is for the cruise control. The length seems to point to someplace near the front of the engine, but there is a lot of "enginage" up there and I don't have x-ray vision.

Does it attach to the carb, or the manifold, or does it tee into another line?

Is there a picture on the photo site that someone can point me to?

Not quite. I am looking for the connection point of the other end of the tube that comes off the back of the servo. The figure in the MM shows something that looks like a check valve, but not sure. Is the line off the back of the servo the one that goes to the vacuum dump switch in the cockpit?

I will start looking for the check valve, or whatever that gizmo is on the drawing.
