Its been a while since I added some photo's of Murray's Mansion.

Siding is on, as well as soffit. Went out Saturday to find brick to match the house, but the brick & Stone places were closed for the holiday weekend.

Drywall is started, but maybe will get my floor poured first (frost is still coming out of the backfill!). Scaffolding doesn't roll well on gravel!

I see you didn't use flashing on the roof valleys.
Is there a reason for this?

He put a metal flashing in the valley then did a weave of the shingles as well. I guess he was covering both schools of thought. He never actually asked me which way I wanted.

We bought the house last Sept and there was a new roof put on it in 2012. It has a metal flashing and the shingles are cut and butted to each other, I had never seen that before. I asked the Building Inspector about this while checking on whether I could build the Murray Mansion and he said that was done alot in that area.

As long as it doesn't leak I guess.
