Ran across this local Craigslist ad today for a 75 with 72000 miles.

I sold this coach over a year ago with 72000 miles and I know the odometer works.
Owner claims to have taken an 1100 mile trip and changes the oil every 2000 miles.
I don't doubt he has done some work as it needed work when I sold it.
Some of the photos I took when I sold it.
Claims to be a member of "GMC SunshineState".

Maybe not my business to interfere, but this type of misrepresentation has just become too common.

Yeah, I saw that pop up on my radar and wondered if you'd upgraded it some more and raised the price. The old photos confused me.

Price is too high, btw.

Yeah, the use of my photos in his ad kinda bother me.
I wonder if this is a legal issue?
Don't want anyone thinking it is me as I have these photos all over the GMC picture site.

I remember this coach for sale. Was contemplating burning the wicked mistress and starting over. The paint scheme {black and silver with some garnet on the inside) would have been perfect for a tailgating vehicle here. But the sanity, it was fleeting, and I just burned a pile of money instead... Laughing

Lots of folks take pictures of their new things when they bring them home and they have that I'm trying to find a new home sparkle. I have seen a lot of ads where those photos were used instead of the ones 100,000 miles later that show the worn seats and stained carpet. Was it Donald Trump that said show me a man that is trying to sell a dirty car, and I will show you and idiot. Its kind of creepy to use the last owners pictures.

It wouldn't be fraudulent, per se, if the coach still looked the same. But if it needs paintwork, and he says it does, it doesn't look the same.

Google has a service where you can put in a picture and it will show you all the places where it has been used. I put in an image of my GMC from years ago that's on my website. To my surprise, it returned a number of sites, including some GMCs for sale. Follow this link and you will find me third from the bottom. A picture of my GMC for sale in Salt Lake City. It claims it has only 30,000 miles, unlike the almost 200,000 it really has.
