Hi all,

My Brichaven had a "Power Level III" panel installed when I bought it (I have never seen another like it). I have since found the original panel and valves and have no need for them.

I don't know if these are worth anything, are rebuildable or of any value to anyone, but if someone here needs them I am offering them to you free of charge. The panel itself has a cutout for a guage, so probably isn't useable. The valves are all there and the detents are solid, but I am unable to test so I don't know if they are serviceable.

Let me know if you are interested.

Guy,

Do the Power Level III valves look like this:

http://www.appliedgmc.com/prod.itml/icOid/738

If they do they are VASTLY superior to the OEM valves!

If not take a photo as you've piqued our curiosity (well mine anyway!). ;-)

Never mind! I just clicked on your website and found this photo:

http://www.gmc-guy.com/images/SAM_3872.JPG

If you took those valves out PUT THEM BACK! ;-)

Regards,
Rob M.

Rob,

Here's a pic of the PL Mark III panel and valves that I have installed. They
came with the GMC and look like they are identical to the ones that JimK
sells.

Here are front and back pics of the free panel and valves:

Yes I am definitely keeping the upgraded valves!

Thanks,

Espen,

The PO of Guy's coach probably replaced the OEM valves for a reason so I'd suggest you contact JimK and have him send Guy a rebuild
kit (http://www.appliedgmc.com/prod.itml/icOid/953) for the valves. The valves are well used and I'll bet you could get away with
declaring them as zero value on the Customs form even with a kit in with them. Take the instructions out of the kit.

Rob M.

Thanks Rob

I have what I need to rebuild them here (have done a couple) my problem is one of the knobs that are worn out and I can not find anything to shim it in with so it opens the valves when turned.

Manufactured by Eric's Rv? Does that mean JR doesn't make them anymore? Or are they a copy of Jr's valves?

Roy,

I just dug out the receipt from the PO. He had them installed in August,
2000 by Eric's Mobile RV in Fresno, CA. I suspect that he simply copied the
design from JR? Not sure, but the graphic design on the plate is
unmistakable. Interesting, the cost of the valves and the panel was $335.
Plus installation, tax, etc brought the total to $564!

Espen, I removed the valves from the plate since the plate was not useable.
This made for a smaller package. The knobs look to be in great condition. I
just returned from the post office and they are on their way to you now. My
first shipment to Norway!
