heading to bed, and I am almost done with my new black tank, and new toilet project.

old toilet the water line went into the toilet at a 90 degree. the new toilet, the water line is supposed to enter straight back.

the existing waterline does not want to make that bend, and it would be a much better fit, if it also came in with a 90 degree fitting. the 90 degree fitting on the valve on the old toilet will not work with new toilet.

the instructions mention the 90 degree fitting might be needed, but does not list part number.

I only went to one box store home improvement, and they had nothing that was correct.

has anybody else dealt with this, or have the dometic part number for that 90? I am sure when I go to an actual hardware store tomorrow they will probably have the fitting I need. but thought I would ask.

Jon, If you have easy access, I convert the toilet to stainless steel
braided flex lines. They do not rust, and make the bends easily. Don't
freeze easily either. JWID.

I was able to find a fitting in the correct 1/2" npt at hope depot for 1/2" pex which is what I used for all the water lines in The Pig. 90 degrees off supply to a 90 degree towards the toilet to the fitting on the toilet valve. The pex is flexible enough an the crimp connections can be spun on the hose w/o leaking to align.

I did just what jim hupy suggested. 36" faucet hose. Worked like a charm. I noticed that one other section of fresh water plumbing was replaced by myself when i first bought the coach.

Original line was 30". But the 36" allowed a little more room and worked better.

Would say project is done, but i think i am going to add an accumulator tank in the fresh water system while i have it all exposed.
