I just noticed that this message board refers to me as a "senior member." Shocked

I am hereby notifying newbies that my coach, to date, has traveled a grand total of 40 miles under its own power while in my posession, and sits immobile in the driveway in full gas tank re-hab glory.

While a full complement of stationary adventures have occured, I think a senior member should at least have one rolling adventure under their belt, don't you? Don't get me wrong, I have enoyed every bit of the renovation...mostly.

But, apparently I spend way too much time posting here earning "senior member", and not enough time in the driveway completing the punch list.

You have been warned. Laughing

Joe,

That's funny. I think if you can survive posting 100 times without getting upset and leaving the forum, you get to be a senior member.

Though I drove to Montgomery this year and back, the electronic speedometer registers no mileage. I think I have it hooked up right, have the right wiring for the Hall Sensor, but it "won't say a lonesome word" or record a lonesome tenth of a mile.

So, according to it, it didn't happen. It won't do a thing but sit there looking spiffy. More interesting things to do. I got it cheap off ebay. So, I am also in your category. More likely is the scenario where things go wrong faster than I can repair the problems that caused the PO to sell. Getting further behind as I write. Have that feeling that the comfort of the couch trumps hanging over the hatch.

Ain't it wonderful? Having something that the warranty is far back in the rear view mirror that does its job as well or better than much more expensive later models.

Best,

Carey

Joe,
Don't feel bad about being a senior member. I have had my coach since last August and still have not been out on the maiden voyage yet, so I have not earned the senior status either. Maybe a weekend in May? I just joined the Colonial Travelers so maybe I can get out with them in the near future.

My focus now is on encouraging the Onan to make electricity again. Hope to take up that project again this weekend.
