Hi you all,
All Torsion Bars shipped today. There was a delay due to the problem with
heat treating, this company (sub-contractor) was overloaded but that was
taken care of it eventually. Tomorrow I will receive the tracking numbers
and will send out an email to each of you who ordered Torsion Bars.
I hope you all have a wonderful install and are happy that you can get it
up-the front end of your GMC.
It was a pleasure to do this project, it was a lot of work and I hope you
are pleased.
Since it is spring and the weather is so beautiful it is great to work on
your GMC and get it ready for your adventures this year.
Best Regards
Peter D. Huber

Thanks Peter
Received my Manny one ton kit a few weeks ago and the coach is coming out of storage in 2 weeks so things are coming together.

I most have missed somethin. I joined the site not too long ago. But I think this is the first I heard of this.
What do these new Torsion Bars have to offer?
Were more ordered than those who paid to order?

Tony (Ontario Canada) Marie and I are blessed to have had a 2nd chance to buy our farm. Still hoping and more importantly praying to be able to build a garage. Our 1970 Ultravan #520 has an Olds Toronado 455 in back.

Peter asked for people to reply to him if they were interested back in January.
These were custom made to be 16% stiffer than original.
It helps when you have a lot of weight on the front wheels and your old torsion bars are sagging.

Peter
I received the bars yesterday and they appear too nice to hide under the coach. Thanks again for all your hard work to put this together
