Turn it 180 so the lines are on tom or do what I did and mount it behind the grill. I'll try to remember to take photos next time I'm at the warehouse.

We will be crossing the alps, the perinees and the atlas, but just ocasionly

I just wonder if the integrated cooler should be enough?

as long as you stay on the large autostradas, you shouldn't have a
problem. Crossing the Alps over some small pass might cause some issues
in general. We had problems crossing some with a T2b in the 80s. Much
smaller vehicle, but probably comparable power to weight ratio.

In that case I would used one, reconfigure the one you have or buy a new one, it does not cost much.

HUH?

That would put the filler on the bottom. Please advise how you get water into it?

That might work here in Australia as we're upside down but I don't think it will work over there!

Appie what you should consider is a trans temp gauge.
I do not have any extra coolers on mine so far but I might as we have some pretty steep roads, but then again the air temperatures are normally pretty cool to and the cooler in the radiator has a pretty good heat transfer.

Appie,

If you are replacing the engine and the radiator, get a set of these stainless oil lines and replace them at the same time.

http://www.bdub.net/slaten/

I believe Jim K. also has them.
