Lenze, measure the flange and gasket thickness, then use a Phillips
screwdriver to probe the threaded hole. Subtract a couple of threads, and
there you go.

I could do that if the headers were off, they are'nt And wont be until we take the engine out ( she can still run) I just want new bolts ready for the new engine

Why not just wait until you pull the engine? Most header bolts are a standard length. Personally, I prefer bronze studs with single use locking nuts of the type that were on the Eagle Talon AWD Turbo I had back in the mid 90's. They don't rust, corrode or otherwise seize. With the single use nuts they don't back out. I made studs from bronze bolts for the 65 Mustang headers and flanges. Not dealing ever again with rusted shut exhaust fasteners.

You lucky people who can just go to the cornershop and buy your parts
It is not so easy living in denmark
I have to make sure I have all parts ready when we start working on the engine otherwise I can use days or more finding the right parts while Olga is in pieces in the shop that will charge me everyday she is there

So if anybody knows the length of the bolts I can order the bolts I like best, thank you

The one in the middle is the most shallow one and I get just under 25mm, the outside ones are around 30-35mm and the two last ones even more, all of them are different.

Your in luck! I just happen to get a new set from Gerry ( great guy) while I made a pass in Montgomery for the first time(without my coach). What i was able to measure was just 1 inch of threads with a 9/16 hat (or washer).

The bolts that came with my Thorleys are 3/8' x 1" grade 5, coarse
thread. It has a flange head and takes a 7/16 wrench.

Looks like these...
