A new owner, Kelly Money, found this taped to the top of the water tank in
her 1974 Glacier.

Looks like other Build Sheets that I have seen in vehicles other than Motor
Homes. Kind of a neat piece of history to find. I have the incomplete
vehicle (Transmode) paperwork on my Coach from when it left GMC to
transport to Jimmy Industries. (Coachman) Also the original dealer invoice.
Coach was sold to a Auto Broker at a Honda Dealership with 9 miles on the
clock. I kind of look at that stuff as a window into the past. I find it
fascinating. Greg Birch, Alex Birch's grandson, recently came into
possession of a lot of the memorabilia that Alex's widow had in her
possession. A lot of it was on film and videotape, including some footage
that was shot in Monument Valley where they did a lot of commercials for
the Motorhome. Greg and I discussed whether there is enough interest in
some of the material to warrant producing and sharing the stuff on DVD. How
about it, is there any interest in it?

Jim:

I'd love to see the material you've found.

I collect the R. M. Clarke Motorbooks collections for various vehicles that I'm interested in. They are compilations of magazine articles etc... from when a vehicle was released. I have dozens of them for all sorts of vehicles, it's what I read...

I WISH they put together one for the GMC Motorhome - but I doubt it will happen.

Jim,

I am interested! Even if the info doesn't apply to my Birchaven, in my
opinion this historical data must be preserved and distributed. Let me know
if I can help in any way.
