Interesting. That is not how one of our major vendors installed the outlet hose on our Clasco. The outlet end was left open as the tube was too small for the hose they used to fit in with a machined brass fitting on the end. Guess that would have to be removed and a larger tube or smaller diameter hose installed to make it work as you describe. Even then, I think I would still find the screw on outlet tubes on the Royale more convenient. Thanks for your observation, I will pass that on to the vendor.

I cut a 50 foot heavy duty 3/4" red rubber garden hose in half and left the male threaded end on the hose and connected the cut end to the pump. I use a hose cap on the threaded end before I slide it into the 20' 1-1/4" PVC pipe that is suspended under the drivers side along the frame.
There is no leakage from the hose into the storage pipe. When done dumping I raise the end and screw on the cap. No mess and clean.
I store the other 25 ft hose with the female hose coupler beneath my propane tank and use it if if need a longer hose. Not often but handy if I have to reach for a toilet or a sewer clean out to drain into.
This has worked well for years now

I use the snap on type of water hose connections with my installation. Very easy and no need to tighten or unscrew the hose bib. Faster and cleaner. However, it does involve a smaller diameter, and might present a problem in the future. None so far.

Here's a photo of how JimB and I installed the macerator under Double Trouble:

The 1" ID macerator tube is clear and I don't have a cap on the end because when I'm done macerating I lift the 1" ID tube starting
at where I comes through the rear cross member and work my way towards the end. I can see through the tube and watch the residual
contents as they travel through the tube. When it is empty I lift it out of the dump hole, give it a bit of a shake and feed it back
into the storage tube along the bottom of the frame.
Does this procedure sound somewhat familiar to any of the guys that read this? ;-)
