For those of you with screen doors, what have you used as a window shade over the window? I keep looking for a shade that will mount inside the window frame, but it doesn't look like there is enough depth. Not sure how to fit something in that window that will also sit behind the screen door. Anyone successfully do this?

Thanks,

Guske has a day/night shade for it.

Jeremy,

Double Trouble has a Birch screen door like your coach and it has a Guske blind between the doors. Unfortunately I don't have any
pictures of it.

I have also just added a screen door. I have the pleated day/night shades, and the door shade was mounted well inside the door. I plan to cut the shade about 1/2" shorter, and remount it inside the door window frame. It seems to fit there quite well. The only problem will be attaching the screws to hold it in place... I'll see what that takes when I tackle the job next month.

When I got the coach I needed something quick for a shade. I bought a
sheet of 1/4" corrugated plastic and cut it to fit nicely inside the
door's window frame. Since it worked well and didn't cost much we never
got around to a fancier solution.

When I installed the screen door it looked like a brilliant idea, of
course. But then when it was time to put the shade in at night we had
to open the door and step outside to do it. Much like you have to do to
lower any shade you have in the door.

I decided that the plastic "shade" would work just as well on the INSIDE
of the screen door. Went with gray plastic this time - better match to
the interior, ya know.

Held in place with three simple latches from Home Depot. Two of them
are screwed tight, one is allowed to rotate.

Not high-class but dead simple.

Jeremy,

Our coach had mini blinds on it when we got it. Still does. When I installed a Ragussa screen door, I removed the top mount and mounted it to the door glass with mounting tape. Even in the Arizona heat, it had only fallen off in close to five years. IIRC, the blind was cut to fit the window, so the only other thing I had to do was mount the strings on the bottom to the window frame. I can send pics tomorrow if it would help. I don't see why this wouldn't work just as well with Day/Night, pleated shades.
