The details are worked out for the GMC motorhome display, Nov 20 thru the 22, 2014. In Rosemont, Ill. ( Chicago Area ) All I need to do now is send money. Their giving me a display area of 20ft by 50ft with aisles on both sides. This is a very large area inside a building that there will be about 400 plus cars on display. The theme for this display is how to have a fun day at track events, and car shows with the family. And doing it with a classic vintage GMC motorhome. Going to have one of my road racing Yenko's on an open trailer. They want me to bring my 69 Goodyear tire testing Yenko that was on the cover, and featured in a 5 page article inside Hemmings Classic car Magazine last May. With the GMC, and trailer attached, and at a slight angle to each other. Awning out with some chairs, table, and a grille. On the left side I'll have the generator pulled out for display. The Yenko will remain on the trailer. Not crazy about the open trailer. But the open trailer will sh
ow more effectively than my 24ft enclosed. I need to make some posters of GMC's from stock, to wild. Other ideas welcomed. So please contact me on some photo's of GMC's that I can make a show case of. I've put this type of display on at some car shows, and cruise in's. It's been very effective. And it's got some people into GMC's. The other projects I'm working on is to get my GMC in some magazines. And get some exposure to GMCMI. Any input is welcomed on membership ideas.
