Does anyone know if John is keeping track of TZE numbers as they come up,
or do they have to be sent to him. An email a couple of months ago went
unanswered.

In this case I'm wondering if he has:
TZE167V100636
at
http://www.salvage-cars-for-sale.info/salvage/for-sale-gmc-motorhome-1977-MjQxMzQwMjE

It also had FMCA plate 421026 so we should know who the owner was.

Mike,
Thanks for the input. The coach in question is in the Registry, and is shown as being owned by someone in Grand Prairie, TX. That's the newest info I have on the coach. I have no way of telling how old this info is. If new and old owners don't submit info on their coaches when they buy and sell them, there's no way the coach owner info can get updated.

I also tried to look up the FMCA number on this coach, but the latest, and I believe the last big book that FMCA put out with member listings, was 2007, and those numbers only go up to 382543.

I DO scour the eBay, CraigsList, and many, many other sites for coaches. The majority of these never list the TZE numbers. Sometimes a little investigating can come up with the number, but not often.

If an owner lists a coach through the Registry, they WILL get a thank-you reply, and as much info there is on their coach. Others that send me info will also get a reply. Probably the worst place to ask about a coach, or send me info on a coach, is the GMCnet. If I missed something that you sent, I apologize. It can happen.

Since acquiring the Registry, there have been close to 400 new listings - coaches that have never been listed before. I think that's pretty good, considering that the coaches are becoming more scarce each year.

John
