Hockey is a game played on ice wherein the goalie is covered in padding all over except the adam's apple.  The object of the game is to hit the goalie in the adam's apple with the puck.
Curling is an alleged sport whose sole purpose is to make a baseball game exciting by comparison.  I missed the Jamaican bobsled team, my perennial faves.

Me = Proud US Citizen and Marie = Proud Canadian Citizen.

And I prefer Tea and Marie perfers coffee.
I hate mushrooms and Marie loves them.

I live in Canada and the stuff I have heard some of them say about the US. Very Happy
Heck I even had a member, name will not be shared - as it does not matter, who thought I was a Canadian citizen and the things they said over the phone, before I told them otherwise. LOL

I hear the US and Canada thing every time they have a game.
The funny thing is I can care less about Hockey altogether.
My game to watch is US Football.

Marie has a great sense of humor and I like to tihnk I do as well. We joke about this kind of stuff all the time. Heck she has been putting up with the likes of me for almost 14 years now. Very Happy

She must love me!
Or wait, maybe she is only after my RV and Corvair collection. Nope that cannot be it - can it. LOL Laughing

Tony (Ontario Canada)
Marie and I are blessed to have had a 2nd chance to buy our farm.
Still hoping and more importantly praying to be able to build a garage.

Ken,

I somehow missed the last chain puller.

The Aussie's didn't fair too well at the Winter Olympics, however, that's understandable seeing the geography and climate.

If you check the medal tally for Summer Olympics it's a different story, considering the population of approximately 25 million they
take home a disproportionate number of medals.

Johnny,
I did see the Jamaican's run. Not a great job of driving, but they made up for it with enthusiasm. NBC did a segment on a song they had someone write just for the Sochi course, which may put you in the mood.

<http://www.nbcnews.com/storyline/sochi-olympics/feel-rhythm-feel-rhyme-jamaicas-bobsled-theme-song-n31441>

The video shows how the song sync's with the course. I did click through the link to the song site and it is a free (and so far safe . . .) MP3 download.

Enjoy!
