I used mats from thermosoft.com under our floating cork floor.
Absolutely love them. It's not a lot of heat (roughly the equivalent
of a few light bulbs), but it very nice. The mats were cheap, and are
often on sale.

It's easier to tell where the mats are NOT because the floor is cold.
