I'm familiar with the fatalist theory. It is interesting. On the other hand, I believe you can speed things up. Fatalist believers probably don't look both ways before crossing the street. Non- fatalist believers, as their mother's taught them, look both ways. Put me in the second group.

BTW, NBC had the same clip on their newscast last night. It probably cost some small car sales.
