Ada and I arrived here in Quartzsite Friday late afternoon.
Just think of the fun. Cold and dusty at night, warm and dusty during the day. Big crowd this weekend and tomorrow w being a holiday should be too. Fire Safety class with Mac was really interesting learning how to get out of the motorhome at 2 AM from a sound sleep with a fire after your butt.
more tomorrow.

Take two: Monday was a good day with good crowd. Temp is nice (mid 70s) but the dry desert air does me in along with the dust.
I'm sorry but I'm a Florida water baby. Have no idea what to do in the sand and dust. Water, I can handle.
Mac's fire safety classes are an eye opener. For us Right coast folks, Mac will be at the FMCA Perry,GA rally in March. He will make you think of things we take for granted that could kill you and those in your coach if you don't stop and think about what you are doing (or not doing). Every time I spend a few days with him I come out with something new that I should do different or stop doing.
Don't know about pictures. Visualize a BIG flea market where the surrounding town is made up of RVs and not houses. Yep, now you got it.

P.S.: To stay on topic: saw some GMCs and met some owners here.
