The 1315 is only rated for 100A, so there's the problem.  I think I'd better leave that boost solenoid in place for the joining function.  Thanks for helping me think it through.  Thanks again, Gene.

good luck , finding what you want to do

a point one (0.1) connection, will drop 3 volts when cranking.

that is why we need to keep the connections down on
the starter system
