There were no 3 point harnesses engineered for the GMC.  In that, as a tech, there is no crash data so I cannot by law install one.  You could but if there is an accident and someone does their homework, you may not be covered. Either way, its not worth taking a chance.  As someone pointed out, there's not much overhead structure to tis into.

First, I am not convinced that shoulder belts are actually a safety improvement due to the construction of the body shell.

MIGHT be worthwhile _IF_ you could build a NASCAR-level roll cage into the coach!

Some GMC trucks use shoulder harness built into the front seatbacks. I have serious doubts about whether the seatbacks would stay upright in a crash. One of my vehicles is a 1999 GMC Sierra 2500 pickup. It also has adjustable (ratcheting) headrests. I can push it back OVER the ratchet mechanism just by pushing my head back!
