Thanks to all for your prayers and kind thoughts, cards, letters and e-mails. I know it helped. The Dr. did have a small issue during the surgery yesterday morning. Since I am a leg amputee one side of the lower aorta is smaller than the other from non use so he had to have a "Y" stint made special for me to fit. Well the tool he uses to pull the stint was to big and would not go in the small side of the aorta so he had to balloon it to enlarge and it ruptured. He said that He kinda expected it so he had another stint ready to repair that portion of the aorta. So He says everstuff is repaired and I should be back to normal (his words, not mine) after a few weeks of 10 lb lite duty. I am in some pain and discomfort but that don`t count. My biggest worry now is Dan.

Good deal my man. Ken B. and I knew you would be fine. We talk about you "behind the scenes". So glad we got what we asked for. I need you and Ken B. To make my Onan run again at Bean Station, or the next place we hook up.
Will stay in touch.

So glad you had good care from all directions, Chuck. Follow docs orders
and get well soon. I know Kat is a good nurse, just like Dan's.

All the best!

Mr. Boyd,

I'm very glad to hear you're back home and on the mend. It sounds like you found a surgeon that's worth his salt, and he was prepared for the eventuality. He sounds like a keeper. See if he's interested in owning a GMC. You know he'd be prepared. Wink

take care

Richard

Chuck,

Sounds like the Dr. you had knew his stuff and what's amazing he didn't even have to consult with US!

I agree telling you that you will back to "normal" is an oxymoron. You're way better than NORMAL!

Take it easy and increase what you do little by little and before you know it you'll be fighting fit again.

I'm confident Dan will; as they say Downunder, "come good" too!

mountainside there!

HAPPY New Year!
