Gene,
Applied has them.
CV Drive shaft

Outter drive axle

From an earlier post by Jim K.
We have the pleasure of supplying the community with parts and kit
that fit as we have a GMC shop and use the same parts here.
There are but few shops that have the specialtool for suracing the joints.
Most just install larger balls.

I really appreciate the work that JimK is doing to keep us on the road,
and you must do what you must do,
-but-
the above quote is the key
-
surfacing the joints removes the oil groove
- larger balls, makes the joint run unsymmetrical
- "super boots" are no longer available
- new joints are no longer available
- if it ain't broke , don't fix it
- but-
when you look at the parts that are "new"
and replaced by the one ton kit v-II
http://www.machinesoflovinggrace.net/gmc/frontend/index.php?p=KitParts
it is clear the direction you will take:
TO KEEP OUR GMC'S ON THE ROAD
