Thanks for the donations guys! I was out of the country for several days and
came back to find the paypal notices.
"Temp" was never meant to be a permanent solution(obviously) and was assembled
out of spare parts that I had laying around. Besides being a Frankenstein
machine, it's internals are ancient in computer years. It's worked so well,
that I've been reluctant to touch it. The only upgrade it's had since '08 was
to transplant its internals into a rack mount case when the old power supply
died earlier this year.
I'll be looking at replacing it preemptively early next year. Any Linux gurus
that want to pitch in some ideas, I'd love to listen. I'm just a geek with too
much time(right) on his hands.
