Nahh, if the car is a success, they will build it here like they should anyway. They have piloted other cars here and started production when sales targets justified a plant.

I saw a video presentation a few months ago re: CFO of GM talking about
investing BILLIONS of stimulus dollars in mainland CHINA to build mfg
plants in that country. Seems GM expects that 7 of 11 new cars sold by them
to be sold in overseas market, and they wanted to save labor costs. What is
wrong with this picture?

While labor costs are a concern, I am fairly sure that most of the reasons for "the shift" to overseas locations have to do with the other costs of doing business. Pretty much summed up by the unstable/unfavorable business climate being pushed by many here in the US.

BUT this is drifting a bit political for this forum.
