He didn't forget. He has been and will be up to his ears in remodeling of his shop space for several more weeks I would guess. Needs to get that completed before he can devote the time to making more stuff for us. I did see a grill in the weld up jig so once the space is completed my guess is he will take the time to catch up on things like this. His place is taking on the look of a well oiled factory for specialized GMC parts. Amazing guy and amazing place. And no, the hill leading up to it is no less steep!

He does paper work out of a very small space so I built and delivered a new desk for him made from Hines Walnut and birds-eye maple. Quite interesting. To keep it small enough to fit in his limited work area I built a butterfly leaf work surface extension that pulls out like a drawer. Once pulled out the leaf deploys and locks to the fixed work surface, roughly doubling its size. Shelves above provide storage for paper work, books, etc.

I also have been waiting for a grill from Manny. I think he forgot.

good on you! So many of us owe Manny a HUGE debt of gratitude, but
he's so incredibly capable, it's hard to come up with anything we can do for him. Nice job!
