Chris
You can also make an extended run fuel tank set up.
Using an outboard fuel tank, USCG fuel hose and some fitting.
I found the information on line or I'll send you the photos of ours when you are ready.
Cheap to build.
Walmart tank, boat shop USCG hose, fittings from auto parts store.
Drill out the Honda fill cap screw in "L" fitting attach hose to fitting then hose to Outboard tank.
Drill the hole a little smaller the the "L Fitting" the cap is made from a soft plastic
As the Honda uses up the fuel in the on board tank it creates a vacuum sucking up the fuel from the Outboard tank.
We use our 2,000 Honda for dry camping.
It's enough to keep the batteries up and run the electric stove or microwave one at a time.
Forget running the AC with the 2,000
I tried it
To hard on the Honda 2,000
Good friend runs two 2,000 Hondas hooked to gather for his dry camping trips with his trailer.

Thanks, I have a boat tank with the marine fuel lines and quick release fittings already. I use the setup from my old trolling motor. I was contemplating installing a fuel cell (easy to get and mount) or converting to LPG.
Two EU2000i's seem a better way to go as I usually would only need one anyway, and could alternate using them to share the duty cycle when I camp in areas where I don't need the AC.

I use an extended run set up for my Honda 2000's. With the auxiliary marine tank you can run the little Honda 24 to 36 hours depending on the size of the tank. I have a large 6 gallon and a smaller 3 gallon.
They really work great and you can find the complete kit on e-bay if you don't want to chase down all the parts yourself.
