Whew, just in time. Teri and I got the tank and lines full of antifreeze. Nearly too late. Finished it last week. This morning I saw 19 degrees on outside temp, never rising above freezing today. We had no plans to pink the thing up but our plans got changed and we won't leave the driveway now. Arizona was looking so good after missing out for two winters. Our coach was never intended to be a driveway queen or just a convention traveler. Those of you who know our coach know it is a user, no beauty queen. Only been able to do 10 thousand miles in last two and half years. Next year that will improve. We did not install every modern upgrade to just let it sit.
We have lots of friends. More than we realized. I have had offers to winterize our coach from 500 plus miles away. Same goes for finishing up the new headliner. Just how GMC people are. We get cards and letters daily form our friends. I think it is ticking the mail person off some days, ha. We read and save every one, even the printed letters because Matt C. Figured we could not read his writing. He is probably right. We get seconds and thirds, cards and notes from GMCers, and that is good. We know you have not forgotten us.
Local friends run errands for us and bring us cooked food. We appreciate that as it saves our gas for running back and forth to St. Louis. Fuel jumped 25 cents here today. 2.73 to 2.99.
Friends are considerate as they call or text before stopping. I have not been sick one time but I do get very tired on 2 nd and 3rd day after the chemo. I normally will not answer my phone but Teri answers hers. I hate talking on the phone, even when I feel good.
Oh well, we are dealing well with things. Teri is the best nurse. I try to be considerate as it is hard on her. We have one daughter living close with 4 of our grand kids. They stop 4-5 times a week to keep us smiling.
Life is good.

Thanks Dan. I get cards from GMCers that we have not seen since 07 and 08, when we were on the west coast making friends and memories. We get cards from lots of GMCers who don't even own a computer. Makes me feel good and helps me have productive days. We have special procedures going on because we have doctors who know what is going on. From the start i asked folks to pray for doctors to make the right decisions. My wife and son got me to a hospital with doctors that deal with this very thing on a regular basis. Makes a big difference on getting a good head start on things.
Oh well, I guess you can tell it is a good day. I will shut up now.
Thanks for the cards,
Dan
