Are the rubber seals between the aluminum frame and the glass a specialty item or widely available at rv outlets? Where are they available and what is it called?

If ou own a GMC, it is not a bad idea to get familiar with the GMC Venders and service shops.
Does not cost you anything and you will benefit by getting free advise and help.
It might surprise you to see that we have a web site that is simple to enter and view.
We offer free catalog and spend time with anyone to assist them.
It makes sense for us to assist a non customer , as there is a greater chance they will become a customer.
Now, the current customers will be treated well, so don't run off.

I called nick at JImK's today and was asking about me having to change air bags and found out that they sell sully bags

and have the best price as well. Thank you nick, i did not know this. He was very polite and understanding

as well as the great cheerful lady that answered the phone. Good vibrations all around. good people mean good things.

Mickey anaheim ca. 77 palm beach.

I had to put on the ragusa stiff compression ( RV08 part number) -member to replace the air bag on one side today. It worked and the

small aluminum plugs that ragusa has that fits under the boggie ( RV-105 wedge jack block )

worked great with the small liquid jack. the ragusa stuff really works. ragusarv.com

RV-95 license plate bumper step is really great for cleaning the front windows.

rv-26 entrance door handle is much better than the strap for inside, really great change.

I stopped by yesterday and got a new catalog. call them for one -1- 949 475 1420 they are really great. triple battery tray is best -

dual for drivers side as well, lot of great stuff. love them, they really like what they do. and work hard. family business.

If you can think of something they will even make it and sell it. I think JimK and JimB are the same and Manny is

in the first class level as well. I am sorry i do not agree with some about MGM. I wish i could. i ordered valves from

JimK and he states the ones i have are not his when i sent him a picture

even though i have a receipt paid in full from nick for ordering them to be delivered to MGM

and they were delivered but were not put on. The ones that were put on are something that leaked and i have to replace

my new bag now. I think i will go with the sully bags. It looks really big and beach ball like and strong with lots of movement.

I have bought a lot from JIMK but i need to give JimB some money to help out soon. I can't think of what to get yet. a couch maybe.

His shop is to far away to get shipping here in LA. But i have great respect for JImK, JimB, Manny and Ragusa this is the big 4

so far for me, i am sure there are others that i hope to find. From these four i have learned a lot. Also with rob, mac, Dan, Ken, and

many more, thanks to all of you. This great group of people make having a gmc better than a new gmc. It is a learning experience.

great memories created. gmc. I met Duane Simmons on the phone and boy do i miss him.

memo from jimk, on the onan from june 2012.

When the load is applied, go to the main fuel jet adjustment and open
(counter clock wise) about half a turn and see if the hunting will be
eliminated.
The main jet is recessed in slightly so one does not see that.
Always make sure that the fuel line coming from the tank to the base
and from the base to the pump is a 1/4" fuel hose.
Our shop has been playing with a unit that has a problem on hot days
and will mount a sensor to monitor temp around the pump and carb area
and see what it is facing.
Always check that all connections from the tank , to the base and from
the base are tight.
We feel that the fuel prime switch that we use to have the late Duane
Simmons supply is very beneficial in having a fast start.

Than!ks, will phone tomorrow

Darrel,
You are new to the forum, and I don't know how new to GMC.
So, put JimK in your speed dial now. You will rarely get to talk to him (unless you call at 9:30 Sunday night and hope to leave a message), but anybody that answers the phone will help. Unless you are completely certain of the fitment (you can get oil filters by number - still), buy parts from Jimk and save yourself a ton of grief. (Right now there are a collections of owners reading this and going Ah-huh.... )

Next, build a sigfile like you see at the end of this so that when you meet the people (like you will when you get to the spring rally) they will know your name. When you tell these people that you have a '75 GMC, they will want to know the model. There are variations between the models - particularly with different final fitters - that nobody else knows (or cares) about that can make a big difference. And include a relatively specific geographic reference. This is so those that might want to help know that they are in striking range (or not).

Another thing, this is forum (whether you work the e-mail list or the forum) is an open forum that anybody can read. Some that read it seem to be spambots. So, never post a plain @ddress or phone nr. If you just keep it from being plain, they aren't smart enough to read and collect it (yet).

And to close, I don't know how long you have been reading this forum/list. But you may have already discovered that you are now part of a group/family/cult like few others. I have lived my life among watermen and found these people and the way that they relate to their coaches to be very familiar - just like the way we relate to our boats. I decided so time ago to welcome new owners much as we would welcome any new owner or vessel. So,

May the Good Lord bless this coach and all those that set forth within her.

Welcome Darrel

Matt

Applied sells the FI9294 airbag which they use in their mono bag system. They do not sell the Sullybilt system.
