I need the exterior 120V electrical outlet box, receptacle and metal cover which is mounted on the passenger side. I broke mine and they don't make that size two gang shallow box etc. any more. Thanks, Kirk

The exterior outlet was an RPO on all GMCs in, at least, 1977.
Our Palm Beach has one. Handy thing for music under the
awning.

Sorry, it is a Royal.
We probably have some used ones here.
I think there is a manufacture still making them, as we delt with one
on our Air Filter Blower side last year.

Thanks; I'll send you a picture tomorrow. I can't find a correct 2 gang shallow box. I can cut 2 single gang shallow boxes and glue them together to create the correct size. I mainly need the metal outlet cover.

Norris dn't put any on mine... it's on my list of stuff to do.  I think I'll just add a weatherproof one under the edge of the body beside the door.

I have a two plug outlet in the back of my refrigerator. The refrigerator uses one outlet. If I want to plug in something on the passenger side I just open the vent door of the refrigerator and plug in.

Mine does as well and I thought that was sort of redundant. Then I realized the 78's did not have a refigerator door as original equipment. Regardless, I think I've only opened that outlet door to see what was in there.

I've got an existing 4" X 4" hole in the SMC body panel; the easiest thing would be to find an OE outlet cover if I can.

I use my plug on the side frequently as it is easy to access and don't need to fuss with the refer access door.

I use that one a good bit and the one under the passenger hood, up front. Very handy for me.

I'm goinna mount one on the bottom beside the door.  Don't wanna cut into the bodywork... but I need poweer at show sites to run a blower and the lights in the canopy and the tunes.  Tired of stringing an extension cord out the door.

I found a used one similar to OE that looks like it will work. We were in Sacramento and found it at RV Doctor George. They do RV salvage, insurance work, custom remodeling and all repairs except drive train. If you are in the area they are worth a look. http://www.rvdoctorgeorge.com/ George has an extensive RV toy collection on display.
