Hi All
Still on our 6 month journey. Into our 10th state, about 4,000 miles and lets not talk mpg. On the northern coast of Oregon. All is well, but looking forward to discussing options with Jim K when we get to the Oakland area, around Thanksgiving. Lots to see and really no complaints. Met a couple who are on a 79 Moto Gussi this morning and they are a number of years into it, around the world. So, what would I have to complain about. Moving slower, like 45 miles yesterday, helps the budget and the camping is not bad in the off season. Gas prices have been cooperating, which helps. Still spending less money on the road then if we were home, including maintaining our home base. Go figure. Anyway if you want to catch up, we are on our blog. masv50.blogspot.com
I believe our Springer Nina just uploaded her first addition to the blog! Have seen two other GMCs on the road.

I had not seen your blog before. It's really well done, and I loved the dog's eye perspective. I'll definitely be coming back to check it out more. Good luck on your travels!

Michael,

My first visit to your blog. Thanks for maintaining it. Brought back
memories of my trip over the Summer, hitting some of the Olympic Penn.
spotsmentioned. I hope your trip is as wonderful, and beneficial, as
mine was.
Beneficial??? I don't think I've reported that as soon as I got home I
started visiting all the doctors who'd missed me during my absence from
their offices. Started with lab work. The results delighted all of them:
ALL of the parameters fell right in the middle of their desired ranges!
Even my hemoglobin A1C (diabetes control measurement for the previous 3
months) was the best I've had in probably 15 years! Seems being on the
road is really good for me, which means I've got to get things in order and
get back out there. :-)

Y'All keep up the good work.

Mike and Martha, I enjoyed your blog. Wonderful trip with memories that
will be with you forever.

Bob and I visited many of the same places you have been. We, too, found,
surprisingly, our costs were about the same as if we had been at home. We
even spent a couple nights at Jim Kanomata's place.

All the best to you two and Nina as you move on. Will be checking your
blog updates.
