What might it actually be worth? How complicated to replace the Onan 6 kW with it?

I bought one over near Carl Stouffer who paid $700 for it for me (I sent him a check), held on to it for several months, and then
delivered it to Jim Rountree in San Antonio. Jim put it in his truck and brought it to a Classics Rally and John Sharpe brought it
back to Humble!

I got a muffler for it from Bob Burkitt and wound up having to buy a new radiator overflow bottle from Honda. You DO NOT want to buy
a lot of parts from Honda, their prices are ridiculous! There was a clip that held the plastic tube in the overflow bottle cap. I
was going to replace it as it was rusty until I saw the price $17!!!!

Typical example of the generosity and helpfulness of GMCers!

Regards,
Rob M.

I just bought a remote start cable extension - just an extension - for $60 for a Honda EM700is. This isn't big fat wire, it's just the stuff that enables the remote start.

Sixty bux. Ouch.

I'm just wondering if the $1,200 price is reasonable. If so, I'll call the lister to try to get more info.

My son lives and works in Albuquerque and if the genny is a good candidate at the price, I have a possible place for it to be held until I can get out there to get it.

Someone in Seattle is selling an EV4010 for $300. It needs a stator. I checked with the local Honda power equipment center, and the stator is $700 and another $600 to install it, and they won't guarantee that will fix the problem.

They are typically listed from $1000-1500, Mac. I paid $1k for one delivered to JimB. JimB loves these things and says that $1000 is a good price even if it needs a little work.

Thanks all for the info. I made an offer to the seller of $1,000 and he accepted it.

Now to make the arrangements to use PayPal to transfer the money to my son so he can make payment in cash.

Hope this all goes well. Generator came from a news van of Channel 7 TV in ABQ that rolled over.

You're welcome, Mac, I hope it works out. As someone here guessed, I now have my 'Craigslist Scanner' program rooting for these nationally. I'll post those that seem like good prospects.

Hi, Tom.

I don't have PM. I think that may be a forum feature.

My email is slightly camouflaged in my sig block below.
