After I added the 3rd axle which now has 15/16" wc's, to the existing 80mm front and 80mm mid axle, when I stepped on the brakes hard, as in an emergency, I could count a 3 second delay before I had brakes. After the 3 sec delay, it had GOOD brakes....but a 3 second delay?? After sleeping on it, I reasoned that there had to be some kind of built in restriction in the system slowing the fluid going to the rear brakes. I pulled the line coming out of the rear port on the MC and found that the port was only .080 dia as measured with a #45 drill. I opened that up as close as I could to the inside diameter of the brake line coming out of the MC without compromising the male flare that mates with the flared fitting on the line. Turns out I opened it to .180. I also then opened the front port to .140. Doing this gave me immediate brakes with NO delay at the pedal. So, yes...it helped a LOT!!
