I'm finishing up the headliner job and, of course I had to redo the upper sidewall panels. The rubber trim strips that surround the windows were the last thing to reinstall. I put one up and noticed how dirty it was.
Here is an afternoon job to spruce up most any coach. Pull out those rubber trim strips, toss them in warm soapy water and give them a light scrubbing. It's amazing how much better they look.
Popping them back in isn't too tough, but it may be a 2 beer job by itself.
Then again I have all the overhead cabinets down right now.

Doggone it, I’m always so greedy for pictures I guess it’s just fair to demand them of me! I’ll upload some pix in the morning.

Well, here are some pix of me cleaning the interior trim. I’m trying to upload a video to YouTube showing the results of my headliner project (to date).

I like it. I know some folks hate FRP, but as a commercial general contractor, I have ordered and installed thousands of sheets of this stuff. All the paneling under my windows is mulch. I am replacing it with FRP. The PO heavily tinted all the windows, (in Texas) and my wife is always complaining about how dark it is inside. I may replace the worn headliner as you have, so it looks like the inside of a truck stop restroom, as some purists have noted. Plus, FRP is impervious to water damage. Nice job!

I think the best thing I did with this installation is to assure that the panel width was correct and square. The FRP panels snap in place and once the metal strips are screwed in it seems to be very secure.
I don’t want todo this a third time!
I may do the side panels with this too.
