Does anyone know the size and length of the butyle tape to install a fixed side window passenger side behind passenger seat in these coaches? Thanks Dave

Dave,
Usually 1inch wide and it comes in a roll of 25 foot typically. Jim B and Jim K probably have it in stock.

This is not to install frame to body it is to put window in frame. 1 inch seems wide to do that. Thanks Dave.

Dave,
I gave you the link to where you can buy it. It is what I have used and still have a roll in the shop. What part don't you understand?
Let's try it again!

Hi Dave

It comes in 25' rolls. Usually 1/2" and 3/4". It can also be found sometimes in 1" and 3/8". It comes in 1/16" , 1/8", 3/16" and 1/4" thick. 1/16" and 1/8" being the most common.

Most glass shops have it as well as some of the plastic shops. Window dealers also often stock it. RV dealers usually have the 1/8" x 3/4" or 1/8" x 1".

You probably want the 3/4" x 1/8"

A distributor that sells to building sealant and caulking contractors will have it. It was only available in a 3/8" width last time I bought some. So what. I put two down parallel. @ $8. / 50'. Was 1/4" thick. Worked perfect.

Hi all that responded, the area where this window is going to be mounted is only about 3/8 by 1/8 . I cant see why i would have to use such large tape. the old tape that is on it looks to be 1/4 wide by 1/16 to 1/8 thick. this is NOT THE WINDOW FRAME TO BODY mount. it is a window into a frame.sorry for caps im trying to explain, it seems like people are talking frame to body, and i see where 1 inch would work there. Thanks again Dave

Dave,
It always helps if you take a picture and post it. As they say a thousand words can be tiresome on the hands.
