You can see a diagonal brace on the bottom ahead of the
reserve gas tank. I wonder if this was part of some device
to flip it over...

guaranteed there's a cage and gutted interior of the stunt GMC! Also notice on the stunt GMC they removed fuel tanks and other tanks and exhaust and added a plate and reinforced for the mortar-like device that launched it on it's side.

Don't dare consider that staged accident to be in any way indicative of how
an un-modified GMC would perform. Unless it was remotely controlled, which
seems unlikely, it was absolutely seriously reinforced inside for the stunt
driver's protection.

Sarcasm plays poorly via email. I know this but can't help myself. :-)
Of course there was a cage inside. No stuntman in him right mind would
roll that thing without one

Actually, it looks like a stupid, but funny movie if you like Will Ferrel's humor.
Wasn't there an actual lawsuit where someone in another RV had actually set a cruise control and left the driver's seat?

Looks like a 76 (EL1 controls on the dash) and the Roof AC appears to be a shorter mockup until the accident afterwhich it's gone. Took the roll pretty well.

I have cruise from the factory?Anyways looks to me like they used 3 or 4.One that is nice, the one that rolls, and the one they get out of after with no windows and roof.
The rolled one has no roof after it slides in the ditch, could be the same one with jacked up high 4x4's on the wrecker.I watched all the trailers a dozen times, we will see soon enough.

I just returned from a cross country trip. Wish it would have been in the GMC! In Nebraska, Intestate 80, I came across an RV that had just rolled in the center median. Driver was out of the vehicle walking around and the RV was a totally flattened. It had collapsed on its self when it rolled.
Please be very careful and safe out there.
I spent a few days in Yellowstone, Jackson Hole, and the Grand Tetons. Wish I would have had the GMC.
